SSIS and Nav Web Services

Good morning

It is difficult to find examples of projects using SSIS (SQ SRV 2005) and Dynamics Nav Web Services.
I am mostly interested in using the Page Units (I dont need to post the information).
Would anyone have some information regarding the use of these technologies to transfer data into Nav?
Would you consider such approach as a good approach to load data into Nav?
What could/would be the technical challenges and how did you/ would you overcome these challenges?
Would anyone have a project solution sample he could post?

Thanks !

I suggest to Create new tables in 50 and dump your data into it. Then call the webservice to process the data. Or have NAS monitor the table and process the records.

The issue mostly with integration is data integrity. You have to have a place UI for an end user to go to fix the data if it's not correct.

    Hi

Thanks for your Post. I am not sure I agree with your approach...
I think using a table or NAS completely defeats the purpose of having web services.
I actually think Microsoft created Web Services for 09 to get rid of an unstable and complexe NAS.
I have seen several examples of web services and SSIS with Dynamics CRM but can't find the same thing with NAV

    Thanks

There is no front end for data fixing in SSIS. I guess the webservice could be used and you could send the data to it and webservice would put it in right table if successful and in another if not. I'll take a look it it.
