validate between posting date in Header and lines

i have header and line table , one column called " posting date"

in line table there's barcode field , i want , once enter the barcode the posting date in line table take the same in posting date in header table.

urgent please , any help

So these are custom tables?

Are both tables linked like sales header & Sales Lines?
If the keys are set up similar to the sales Header & sales line
then onvalidate of your barcode field you could use get.

header key = Document No.
line key = Document No.,Line No

i did the same but still not modified

do both tables have a "posting date" field?
