Hi,

One of our client is using NAV 5.0SP1. We need to upgrade the new hotfix update file to the client machines. We downloaded the latest hotfix and upgraded the files but while opening the database it is asking to convert the database when trying to convert the database the following error is throwing "INTERNAL ERROR 1423 MODULE 19". i have attached the screen shot of the error message. Kindly suggest me to resolve the issue.

Thanx in Advance,

Regards,

My list of errors in module 19 ends with error 1365 "#Msg_DB_RawDeviceContainDB M_MakeMsg(Module_DB,1365)", so I can't help you with this one. Did you try contacting Microsoft support?

Check to be sure they are using 5sp1. If you try to open with a later version client, you'll get a very simular message.

It seems that your installation does not have the latest .etx file with the error message for this error (and you may also be missing the .stx and other files).

Here is the message for this error:

    =
You cannot start Microsoft Dynamics NAV Classic because you do not have the VIEW SERVER STATE permission on SQL Server.

    Contact your system administrator.
