We are currently in the (long) process of upgrading our DB from from 3.7 to 2009. Earlier this week someone (as yet unidentified) tried to open the live (3.7) DB in a 2009 classic client, got the dreaded "do you want to convert the database" message and said yes. nightmare! Anyway, we have maanged to avoid backup, restore and repost transactions by upgrading users clients to 2009 classic client. We were already using v5 cleints on the 3.7 db so it is not so much of an issue as it may sound. Everything seems to be working fine with one rather infuriating exception. G/L balance by dimension form does not display any results. it is as if there is a filter within it that is preventing it from working, I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work but to no avail. It's not a zup file issue, and the dimension code buffer table is empty. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

thanks, Paul
Issue can be fixed as follows
1) Modify Form 408 Function = DimCodeToOption
2) Enter function local variables and change parameter DimCode = Text = 30
Issue is call to this function is using a variable that is now case sensitive and CODE is not. We had the same issue.
I think Form 113 - Budget has the same issue as well.
Hope this helps.
thanks Jeffrey - worked a treat
