Unless you are a solution developer, you can only make changes to the General Ledger Entry records indirectly via a journal. If you have posted to the wrong dimension, then teh best thing to do is to post a contra entry with the wrong dimension & then re-post with the correct dimension.
Changing anything in the Ledger Entry tables directly is very, very dangerous. For example, in 3.XX onwards, if you change a dimension on a General Ledger Entry, to does not update the Ledger Entry Dimension table (355), meaning that some views by dimensions will remain wrong.
Solution developers may change data in these tables directly and create objects such as codeunits that can change this data indirectly for users.
