Error on DropDown with indirect permissions

Hi,

We are setting up permissions and made tabledata 23 (Vendor) with indirect permissions.
On page 50 (Purchase order), we set permissions as TableData Vendor =r (read permissions)

When running the page, we can create a new order, select buy-from Contact, ...
But when selecting the dropdown for Buy-From Vendor No. we get the following error:

Microsoft Dynamics NAV
You do not have permission to read the Vendor table.

Page Lookup 4 must close.
OK

Anyone has any suggestions on what the problem can be?

    Does the user have indirect read persmission through the Permission Roles?

    Yes,

    we created a role where tabledata 23 is in, read, modify, delete, execute = indirect.

    Try adding the tabledata permission in Page 27 which is the LookupFormID for the Vendor table.

    @dmccrae:

    Same error when we add permission to the list.
    But even if it would have worked, that would mean the vendor would always have read permission through the vendor list, which is something we don't want. :)

    FYI: We also logged the problem with microsoft.
