Upgrade NAV5 SQL to NAV5 SP1 SQL Update 2

We have a PC with the OS: Windows 7 - 64 bits. We need to run virtualization to execute NAV 5.0.
The Database is a NAV 5.0 with SQL option.
We found in the documentation that we need to upgrade to NAV5 SP1 Update 2 (SQL).
We don´t want to touch de DAtabase, objects etc....

the question is... is possible to do a thecnical upgrade from 5.0 SQL to 5 SP1 Update 2 SQL only upgrading the client executables?

If a thecnical upgrade is not possible, we shoud spend some time upgrading and testing objects,comparing code etc....so we will forget about this and continue using virtualization mode for windows 7.

I think you're asking if you can use 5.0 objects with 5.0 SP1 executables. For that the answer is yes, it is not a problem.
