Accessing data from outside Navision database to Nav DB

Hi..

I have created a database (viz,Test Database) in SQL Server 2005 which is not a Navision database. I also have another Navision Data base (viz, Testdatabase Nav)in Sql Server 2005. I want to take the data from the table in 'Test Database' to the table in 'Testdatabase Nav'. I have set the 'LinkedObject' property of table in the 'Testdatabase Nav' to 'yes'. Then what I have to do? ..Can anybody help me..........

Please read the NAV online help for that property. It explains everything in detail.

I used the property in the same method as explained in the Application designers guide , but it is not working for me. i also tried with views, but I got an SQL error while saving the table in Nav... can any body help me......................
