Warehouse Setup

Hi,

We have the 'Require Receive' and 'Require Shipment' option setup in Warehouse setup. What is this for ?

I know in the location card 'Require Receipt' and 'Require Shipment' setup will ensure whether the purchase receipt or sales shipment need to be posted through warehouse receipt or shipment.

    Those fields in Warehouse Setup provide default values for new locations
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

    I don't think so.

    I have validated it in NAV 5 SP1 ID Version, and there is no such validation in Location table, OnInsert and OnModify.

    It is the setup for: BLANK location.

    look at the OnValidate triggers of the fields
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

    Dear All,

    Functionally i testd but even though the 'Require receipt' and 'Require Shipment' is checked, when i create a new location these fields are not getting defaulted with Yes.

    I think this setup in location is for some other purpose or it is not working.
