Using weekday in lead time calculation

We are trying to use the WD code (weekday) for vendor lead times, this is a concept I only discovered while perusing through the help manual recently.

So we have a lead time from a supplier of 20 days, this is considered to be working days. So I have tried using 20WD on the vendor lead time field but it still yields a order date that would suggest it is treating it as 20D.

Has anyone else had any success using this type of dateformula? Have I interpreted it incorrectly?

I am not sure that you can use it in this way. What will be the weekday? Monday-Friday? Or days defined as workdays i some calendar in NAV? In which calendar? I think that this is not how it works...
