NAV2009 Classic cannot access Network drive on Windows Vista

Hey all,
Encountered a problem on my client's PC.
She's running NAV 2009 classic client SQL Server Option on Windows Vista. We have mapped a network drive P: on her workstation, which is already connected on logon.
In NAV, we've done some customisation in a Form button where NAV will read a text file in the P:
Now, NAV is getting an error "file not found" when it tries to read that file. So what I did is call up any dataport, then from the Options of the dataport I go to the select folder dialog box, and I just navigate to P: I don't even have to select any files.
From then on, when I go back to the Form, click on the button and viola! NAV will read the text file successfully.
This is all fine, until she shuts down her PC for the day, and the next day she'll get the same problem.
The thing is, P: is already connected and available. Why is NAV not able to recognise it, until it "sees" it in the Open File dialog box?
Anyone else encountered this problem?
