I'm studying the webservices manual and have started the service in control panel and gone into Form 810 (Web Services) and put Page 21 in there with name "CustomerPage" and selected Published.
The manual says that now all I need to do is key in the following to the address bar of IE....
http://localhost:7047/DynamicsNAV/WS/CR ... d/Services
I have a UK installation here so I changed this to....
http://localhost:7047/DynamicsNAV/WS/CR ... d/Services
I've tried this without locahost as well changing to my pc as in ...
http://pc1234:7047/DynamicsNAV/WS/CRONU ... d/Services
But all I get is HTTP error 500 "Internal Server Error" (The website cannot display the page) all ways
I really really want to understand web services but this is stopping me from getting anywhere.
btw ... the full NAV2009 installation is all on the one demo machine running Vista.

Did you started the MicrosoftDynamicsNavWS service (Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Web Services) in administrative tools -> services of the Nav Server?
By default this service is in Manual mode and is not started.
Hope this work fine for you.0 -
Which version of NAV is it? 2009 or 2009 Sp1?0
-
yes service started manually and it is SP1.0

Try to change the company name in the url. The browser changes blank space by %20 but it works fine. Don´t forget mays because it´s case sensitive.0

The currently logged in user and NTAUTHORITY/NETWORK service accounts should be defined as Windows Logins in the database in which the Page is being published. Define the user in SQL initially with elevated rights, synchronize and recheck whether you get the same error.0

Do you have some errors in the windows event viewer?0
