Warranty In NAVISION

I am going to implement warranty in one company that has Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009.
This company is Retail, and they have electronic devices(TV,PC,Digital Cameras), and they want in NAVISION to has a part- module when they can register warranty for this devices.
Does any one has before this problem, or has any one done this before, does NAV 5 or 2009 has any manual or any module for this.

    You should look into the Service Management module. You can do service contracts and warranties there.

    Depends on what you expect from this module. If you just need to track the warranty, you can use the standard functionality used with serial nos. and lot nos. Where the warranty date is created for the SN/Lot based on calc formula.

    We use the Warranty functionality pretty heavily when it comes to the servicing and repair of equipment. What specifically are you looking to do and maybe I can help?
