I have modified a page in RTC 2009 (added an action), saved and compiled it. I restarted the server, reconnected to the DB however I still can't see my mods when I run my page.
2 things spring to mind based on comming accross this elsewhere
1) Double check the RTC is taking to the same database as the classic, its a silly one but it happens.
2) Check the language settings. If you add the action in Classic while using a local language setting the captions are added for that language, if your RTC isn't using the same language it will look for the 'default' caption agains ENU. If there isn't one it doesn't show up. So you need to make sure you also add ENU captions.
3) or sometimes the User Personalizations do it. I had a problem in showing subpage title - it was showing one same value until I deleted the user personalization for the header and subpage
