Hello All!

I am a NAV developer and would like to get familiar with AX.

I wanted to install AX on my laptop, but it seems like you must be joined into a domain to install it? Is that true?

You can search partnersource (if you have access) for "ax vpc". It would help you if you downloaded the vpc image. Although I don't know how old it is...

The Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Virtual PC (Refresh 2) image contains a full installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with Service Pack 1. You can download the Virtual PC image using the links on this page.

Please note this Virtual PC includes application hotfix Rollup 1 and Rollup 2. The PSA module is not compatible with Rollup 1 and Rollup 2. At this time the PSA module is only compatible with AX2009 SP1 (v 5.0.1000.52).
