5.0 SP1 - Marketing module - "Create Interact" not working

Hi!
The "Create Interaction" function (creating a simple letter) suddenly stopped working on one of our client's terminal servers. No changes were made (apart from regular Windows Updates, neither NAV objects nor the system/programmes were changed). Instead of opening Word the NAV client freezes. It works when user is part of the local Administrators group, so it must be a access right problem but I cannot figure out where. Any ideas are welcome.
Reinstalling the NAV client (including a system reboot) had no effect.
System is Windows Server 2003, Office Standard 2003 (SP3), NAV 5.0 SP1 (Build 26084, yes it's old but it worked!).

Try in a new session; try with a new profile; try to repair Office (trough control pannel software applet or Microsoft Office Diagnose).
