Navision 2.6 on Windows 2003 Server ?

Hi folks,
i am trying to install a new Navision Server (as Backup if the other one crashes)
old Server:
Windows NT 4.0
2 x Xeon 500
2 GB RAM
11 HD (22 HD, RAID 1), SCSI
DB: 55 GB, 34 GB used
is ok (sometimes slow)
re-installation is no problem
(creating new empty Database, restore from the latest backup, needs about 20 hours but the result is ok)
new (Backup-)Server:
Win 2003 Server
1 x Pentium 4 - 2,9 GHz
2 GB RAM
6 HD (12 HD, ,RAID 1), S-ATA !!!
re-installation is big problem!!
creating new empty database: crashes every second try
restore from backup: only one of five tries is succsessful !!
controller write cache und delayed write of HD is turned off
commitcache: I tried 256 MB up to 768 MB --> no change
can someone give me a hint?
- Windows 2003 Server?
- HD: S-ATA?
what could be the reason?
