Barcodescanning in RTC

Dear all,

I'm trying to build functionality that can be used to scan barcodes on a page in the RTC. But because there is no AutoEnter and NextControl property available in the RTC I was wondering if I will succeed. Are there developers out there that have experience with this? For now: I'm hoping that the scanners the customer bought can be programmed to send the Enter

In general I think you're SOL for a simple and easy solution for this in the current RTC.

I think there are a few ways that you can handle this:
1) implement a mixed mode envrionment where you use the NAV Classic client on barcode based machines
2) see what type of additional commands the barcode readers can send (as you've mentioned)
3) look at building a control that can be incorporated into the RTC that works the way you need it too. In the classic client you can't embed visual controls but you can in the RTC.
