Outlook Synchronization with DB authentication

Hello,
I am trying to setup Outlook Synchronization with NAV 2009, SQL Server but not with RTC architecture. The customer does not have AD and uses DB Logins.
Now when I configure the Outlook to NAV Synchronization on the Outlook Add-in it looks like it tries to login on the SQL Server with Windows Login which does not work. Does it work with SQL Server DB Login and where can I set these settings?
