Change Log - For Menusuite

I wanna know why we aren't able to configure change log for User Menu level table (ID:2000000061)

I searched abt this & found viewtopic.php?f=23&t=39302

As i am a beginner i wanna know little more about this

Can anyone help me

Are you talking about what users hide and show in their own menusuite?

The user's menusuite is actually stored as a BLOB field in the User Menu Level table. So I don't even know what you would display in the change log for it.

Is there a reason you need to have the change log turned on for this table?

According to the German NAV Developers Blog at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/german_nav_developer/archive/2010/04/09/tipps-tricks-zum-nderungsprotokoll.aspx you can modify the filters in form 593's C/AL code to enable the table for logging.

Hi mattrax,

Our Setup is having 2 Users who can assign menusuite level permissions to endusers. We just wanna 2 keep a look on menusuite assignment changes(among the 2 users who changed it).
