Problem finding receipt lines - error message

Hello there experts. I was trying to receive a PO generated from a Production Order. This is a subcontractor's PO. When I try to 'Receive and Invoice' the PO, I am getting this error:
Error: Problem finding receipt lines
Has anybody encountered this and what could be the issue.
