Item Not on Inventory

Hi Guys, am trying to post a transfer order but when I click on post and select the "Ship" option it gives the Error message

item [NAME OF ITEM] is not on inventory.


When I check on the Item card that item is link correctly. Am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone please help.

    It's not just the item number. You have to check the combination of item number, variant code, serial / lot number, location code.

    You could use the items by location form to make sure there is inventory in the location you are specifying on the transfer, then drill down into that inventory number to see the characteristics of it.
