Navision 5.0 fields collation

Hello,
I have a NAV 5.0 database with romanian character set collation and I need one field from one specific table to be able to receive greek characters. I modified on SQL table the field collation.
SQL 2005 support fields collation settings and it seems that is working on SQL Management Studio level (open table and insert value).
If the database is not converted completely then the settings made on SQL to that field is not showing greek characters but convert it to some characters. Database on NAV level do not have Validate code page option enabled.
If I convert whole database to the greek collation then the information inserted previously is showing correctly.
Does NAV 5.0 support field level collation or is only Sql that support it ?
