Hello,
I've pretty much exhausted online resources and manuals so I'd appreciate no "try google" replies.
Installed NAV ADCS according to the install manual included on the cd. Installed and configured NAS - connecting to database successfully. Server is Windows 2008 R2 64 bit - edited registry as suggested
http://www.lanhamassoc.com/faq/FAQ_00149_WEB.htm. NAV 2009 SP1. Event viewer for VT100 plugin = "Will Communicate using TCP Server:localhost,port:11322". Dropped Hyper-terminal .dll & .exe onto server to use to test connection. Hyperterminal hangs and Event Viewer reads : "
Could not communicate with Socket localhost:11322. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:11322.[/]
Added miniforms, whse employee, etc but we're not even to that point yet. NAS & VT100 are using the same logon. Temporarily disabled Firewall.
Any suggestions are appreciated, I've read alot of forums but haven't come across a solution. Thank you!

What I see from the experiments I made is that differently from what is stated in the installation manual of ACDS, the VT100 plugin and the application server must run on the same machine in order the VT100 communicates with success with the application server. Also, with the regedit You must change the plugin ip with the ip of the application server (and vt100) machine in order to communicate with the vt100 from a ip that is not equal to localhost (I use hyperterminal also to test the configuration).
If anyone has different information or any suggestion I'm all ears ;-)
Hope this help.
p.s. The version is NAV2009 SP1
ciao, Michele Bendazzoli
Thanks for the reply, VT100 plug & NAS are on the same machine using the IP of the server. Same error.
