Hi everybody,
has anyone an idea how to make an easy report to analysis dimension codes?
We wan't to see it like this:

Dimension Code; date; document type; document number; posting text

If we can solve this, i will jump under the ceiling...... :D

With greetings from germany!
cosch

I solved the problem, I did it with QlikView......

Thanks to all!

If you think on G/L table it should be easey:

    two data items:

    First:

    355 LEdger Entry Dimesions
DataitemView filter by ID=17 (G/L Entry)
two request filter fields: Dimesnion code, dimesion value:

    Second:

    Table 17 G/L Entry
    ident 1:

Data item link Entry No.=Entry No.

In body section you put your fields:
Dimension Code; date; document type; document number; posting text

What is wrong with using the analysis views?

My user don't want to drill down in every position, we need a report or a view where we can see all posts of the choice.

Could you expand on this? Do you mean show a ledger account and then all of the detail beneath it, on the face of the report?
