We are investigating the option to implement NAV / Navision in Brazil for one of our divisions.
Does anyone have any information about Microsoft Policy for NAV in Brazil? :?:
Thank you

MS does not have its own localization, but there are partners that have made localization for brazil.

    Thanks,
Our company in Brazil have been told that only AX is and will be "localised" for the country requirements. :-k
Do you know anything about that?

As I mentioned MS has not localized NAV for south America, but there are local NAV partners that have localized it. In fact we are in process of implementing NAV for a client in Brazil.

    OK.
Is the implementation going well or are you and the business facing problems?
What version of NAV are you installing and how are you implementing the system?
It would be great to hear how you are progressing.
    Many thanks.

I think Ara3n is wrong. Here you can read:
Microsoft previously notified Microsoft Dynamics NAV registered customers and channel partners in Brazil that Microsoft Dynamics (NAV 5.0) is the last version of this product that will be made available in Brazil.
So there must have been a localized version of MS (maybe it was bought from a partner). My question is: which partners, can make the necessary adjustments available? Are complex adaptations for the taxes necessary, so there could be problems to use a database that has another localization in it?

Microsoft has decided not to sell NAV and push AX for south American countries.
Which I think is nonsense. As far as I know, we had to deal with local partners to implement in brazil
