2 different versions of NAS on the same server

Hi:

We're running 5.0SP1 with a NAS instance on our server.

I want to install NAS for NAV2009 on the same box to test our planned upgrade.

As long as it's installed in a separate directory, does anyone know of any problems doing this?

It should not be a problem. Just use a different folder and service name. There's a technote somewhere on this site (I think in the tips) on how to install a second NAS.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

Check this http://www.mibuso.com/howtoinfo.asp?FileID=15 for installing a NAS.

I got an error message "incorrect version" while using NAS for 3.7 and 2.6 on the same server. The message was thrown when the second NAS started. But in fact after throwing the message it started without any more problems on its second try. So if you got such a message let the service retry (no service restart!) and it should work.

Thanks for the replies and link to the how-to. Sorry that I posted this in the wrong forum.
