Dataport import process

Hi,

Using a dataport to import some new customer information, the process runs but it has created a new customers with the same description. I asume, exists a difference between the csv and the test environment table (not completly updated) so then all the new codes, are created(empty) but it'has taken the last customer description. I remember , exist an option to avoid new codes creation. Anbody knows?

If this dataport is standard (without extra code in triggers), check those properties of dataitem in dataport:
AutoSave -
AutoUpdate -
AutoReplace -
You find info about it in C/side reference guide

Thanks for your answer, yes it's a standard dataport . I've checked the properties :

AutoSave - Yes
AutoUpdate - Yes
AutoReplace -No

Anyway I asume that as I was working in a test database and data it had taken out from production database then I had some diferent references
