I have a small doubt: i'm gonna migrate using developer toolkit from nav 4.02 to nav 2009, do I have to go through nav 5.0?
I hope not!!!
I explain what i am supposed to do with developer toolkit:
4.02 old customer objects
4.02 cronus objects
nav 2009 sp1 objects
nav 2009 sp1 new customer objects
is this correct?
Thank you

Basically Microsoft provides you a toolkit to go directly from 4.0 to 2009SP1.
Please check if you have 3rd party products, then find out if these 3rd party vendors supply the same upgrade path.
If they do, then you can go directly from 4.0 to 2009SP1.
If they do not, you might have to use an intermediate version like 5.0SP1.
Can I ask if this is your first upgrade? If it is then please get a senior consultant to guide you through this project.
Some areas in Navision have changed significantly between these versions.

Willy
No it's not my first upgrade but it is my first one to nav 2009 sp1 from a version smaller than 5.00
I know that several areas has changed in NAV
I know how to use the transformation tools for pages and reports
I posted only because I had this small doubt, that's all.
Thank you for your support
