Transfer from USD Bank to DEM Bank

I use General Journal to trasnfer Bank 1 (USD Currency) to Bank 2 (DEM Currency). Why this is not allowed to do so ?

If yes, what is my alternative solution besides I transfer from Bank 1 to a dummy account (LCY) and from dummy account to Bank 2

You can transfer from one bank account to another with different differebt currencies. You just make a two line journal and enter the amounts, but the currencies set up in navision must be the same as the bank gives you (unlikly as banks give bad rates). So you may want to use a third account for the difference in currency convervsion on Navision and in reality.
