Hi,

I used 'Windows Script Host Object Model'.WshShell for sending files to a ftp server (with a batch file). After install NAV for test on a Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 machine, the ftp script stopped when the batch file put the file on the ftp server. I try manny sollutions but we can solved the problem.

I try the following:
Reinstall Microsoft NAV 5.0 SP1 update 2
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (incl windows updates)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 (incl windows updates)

If I try to run the batch in a dos box, it works...
I try to run the script on a windows 7 x64 machine, no problem.
I checked the WSH version, it ok. version 5.8 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Script_Host)
I checked the hotfixes but I found not my problem.

Please help if you have any idea.

Thanks.

    Hi,

We are experiencing exactly the same issue. May I ask if you ever resolved the issue?

    Thank you,

The answer is to add the C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ftp.exe file to the "Allow programs to communicate through Windows Firewall".
