Upgrade from NAV 5.0 to NAV 2009

Hi Guys,
I want to Upgrade NAV 5.0 to NAV 2009.
NAV 5.0 DB contains lot of customised code.
So how upgrade it to NAV 2009.
We don't want to use Navision developer tool kit.
Any other way for upgradation so that customisation will directly comes in NAV 2009.
Kindly suggest me way around ASAP.

Any text compare tool will help you... for the record I never actually use the merge options in the NDT but cut across all changes by hand.. I do however use the NDT to help me identify the changes...
