Fixed Assets Depreciation

hi friends

whenever i post new invoice in my old assets and want to calculate depreciation through periodic activities it doesnt calaculate also does not show any error.
while i can post depreciation manually thgh FA G/L jounl

can anyone suggest the solution

Check your master setup.........for that Asset.Normally it happens due to improper setup

You should never book purchase transactions in the old asset card. If you do so then NAV assumes the posting date of the invoice as Revaluation date and calculates Depreciation from that date onwards.
