Service Tax Issue

Hi Experts,

Plz suggest me the answer of this problem

I want to charge Service Tax in Sale Invoice and i am using structure- Service Tax@10.30%+VAT@4% and want to get this type of figure.......

Qu. * Rate = Value
7 * 1000 = 7000
+ Service Tax@10.30% 721
7721.00
+ VAT@ 4% 308.84
8029.84

What have you done? I don't see any problem in achieving the desired results.

Problem is VAT calulated on Base Amount but as per my requirment it should be calculated on
BaseValue+Service Tax@10.30%= Value+VAT ( @4% on Service Tax Included Value);

e.g.

Rs.
Base Value ***
+ Service Tax @10.30% ***
Value Included Service Tax -> ***

+Vat@4% (Vat charge on Value Included Service Tax ) ***

Total Value-> ***

What have you defined in the field "Base Formula" in the structure line for VAT?

Your structure seems to be just fine. I have tested the scenarion in NAV 2009 SP1 IN version and it is correctly calculating the tax base amount in lines and the resulting tax amount.
