Inventory Adjustment Codeunit 5895 documentation (3.70)

Hi everyone,
is there any Microsoft or user made documentation that explains the code for codeunit 5895 "Inventory Adjustment" (version 3.70). I've looked through it for a few times now, but it's still not clear how it actually works.

I would really appreciate if anyone could help.

no, there isn't...why do you want (need?) to reverse engineer this codeunit?maybe there's another way to solve your problem (if you have a problem )

I have a task that states that value entries (adjustments) for negative item ledger entries (sales in particular) must be posted with the same posting date as value entries for positive ones. And it is not easy to trace the date while performing ledger entry adjustment operation. So I thought the documentation would help.

Interesting requirement... It doesn't sound like some logical one for me...

You can download the inventory costing manual. It explains, clearly, how NAV calculates cost.
