Intercomany transaction

Hi All,
Is there any way to track the status of Order we sent to intercompany. I mean if suppose we created a Purch Order from Company A to company B. and comapny B accepted the Ordr and created the Sales order. How the company A will know fron handled Outbox transaction that comapny b has already accepted the PO sent by them..Any acknowledge etc?

You don't know it from the standard Intercompany functionallity.
I'll have to develop it if needed.
