How to check a license/compare it to the old one

Anyone who has a simple way of comparing two licenses?
We've had quite a few instances where we've had fx 2 new objects assigned and 100 random objects (or even more) un-assigned! =D> ](*,)
The only solution we know of so far is to use the system tables:
- 2000000043 License Permission
- 2000000044 Permission Range
Run a tabular form for one of these tables for each of the licenses, take the data to Excel and set up a compare here to see the differences. Been considering making something through Navision to do the job but this is so far what we're doing.
Interested in hearing if there are any one else who are experiencing the same problems with licenses and if so - have you come up with a simple way of checking them? [-o<

We developed a tool internally to import the license save the results of objects licensed etc and then have them compared and visible in a Matrix form... No need for Excel...

Assigned tables will still not show up on tools built within NAV.

The License file comes with a config text file and it will contain the details on unassigned tables.

    Thanks for your input :)
Know about the txt file but the problem here is that we used to get the txt everytime but then all of the sudden Microsoft couldn't deliver this txt anymore.
Now we're getting the txt again but it's in another format than the old txt files so they can't really be compared. Besides that we have a lot of licenses without txt files so unfortunately the comparison has to be based on the system tables.
