How to save a view with a date filter with WORKDATE?

I want to define a filter on a list (for example Sales Invoices) including a WORKDATE as a date filter and save it to be available as a MenuItem in RTC navigation pane. But if I indicate "w" or "workdate" in a field a current work date is entered and its not updated if I set a different work date.
I've seen such a MenuItem (with a Workdate filter) in our partners customized Role Center (and its not defined on a page). see image below.
Do you know how to make it?
