Error while uploading Vendor Masters

hi all,

we are using NAV2009 SP1 france version, while uploading the vendors thro Migration overview form, we can able to upload 148 records out of 205, balance 57 records are facing an error as "The following C/AL functions can be used only to a limited degree during write transactions because one or more tables will be locked. Form.Runmodal is not allowed in write transactions. Codeunit.run is allowed in write transactions only if the ret" and in field caption "city" , experts please suggest if you have any idea to upload the same.

Sounds like a problem with the code. You can't do a RUNMODAL (usually the cause) when a transaction has started but not committed to the database. Turn on the debugger and find out exactly what is going on.

thanks.. but how it allowed me to upload balance 148 records in total 205.
