If I want to print MICR checks do I need to do something special in NAV? I know I need to get special MICR fonts and magnetic ink for my printer. Will the standard NAV report 1401 work for that?
MICR check printing is useful if you are supporting multiple bank accounts.
The banks are very picky about positioning, so you will need them to approve your printed checks.

that 5cents a check. how much effort and cost with special printer - magnetic ink and programming cost?
ps the answer is yes if you use the correct MICR fonts and update the check#'s you can add that to the check report.

don't fret. we still have hp laserjet 3030
Ink runs when/if it gets wet. not the best option for producing checks IMHO.
