C/ODBC access for SUPER failes with "no access"

I'm trying to gain access to a native Navision 3.60 DB using the C/ODBC Connector, license is installed on the NAVISION server, C/ODBC driver has been installed on a client, but every time I try to configure the ODBC datasource I'm getting a "no access" error when clicking the "company" button on the configuration dialog. The user I'm using has the SUPER role. I already setup an additional role granting him C/ODBC access, but still out off luck.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,
steve

    1) First you need to have the right versions regarding the client and server. Ex. Client Fin.exe 3.70.1.16 and Server.exe 3.70.1.16172
    2) In the licens file is the module C/ODBC a part of this?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Versions on Client and Server are a perfect match (3.60.0.11353), C/ODBC license is part of the licence on the server. Do I need to register the license on the client as well? If so, how do I accomplish this?

    Thanks!

    Are you sure you have :
    Program Folder: Should be pointing to the server where the files are "Database Server"
    Connection:Server
    Servername: Your server name
    Net Type: TCP

    setup correctly?

    & you have
    Granule -> 1,700 C/ODBC -> 1
