PurchQuickQuote - problem

Hi. I'm trying to add one column to the PurchQuickQuote form. There are currently as follows (Design->Tab:Tab->Tab:TabPageExistingItems->Grid:GridExistingItems):
StringEdit:InventTable_ItemId
............................................
.............................................
I've added new String control to describe also ItemName in the form, but after compiling (without any errors) I obtain the new 'version' of PurchQuickQuote form, with Item Name column, but it's empty, while ItemId column contains whole data about the identification numbers. Why is it so? Why I obtain an empty column, when there should item name connected with item id be shown?

Assume, that I have to create some SQL method?

the formdatasource is overloaded by the class InventDimCtrl_Frm_QuickQuote.

if you want to show the itemname in that form you have to modify this class.

you simply modify the method "modifyQuery" in the class InventDimCtrl_frm_quickQuote like i did

after the line
queryBuildDsInvent.addSortField(fieldnum(InventTable,itemId));

insert this code to show the item name in the grid
queryBuildDsInvent.addSortField(fieldnum(InventTable, itemname));
