Reorder Point, Reorder Quantity vs. Usage based procurement

Hi,
I need help to understand relationships between reorder point and UBP (Usage Base Procurement).
We are in wholesale business, most of our daily operations were inventory related activities. We buy inventory and sell it at a profit. We did not have license for Manufacturing and we only use data of the item usage table to calculate the suggested buy qty.
We just hired a new manager who had a lot of manufacture backgroung and would like to utilize the reorder point, reorder quantity, min/max order qty and order multiple to calculate the qty needed for buying.
I am not too good at UBP and my question is if the data were inner connected. In other words, how can I plug the data from item card into UBP to drive the calculation? OH, without any modification! :oops:
