Running NAV through a WAN

Has anyone had success running Navision across a WAN that uses QOS? I've been testing this for some time, and while many forms (vendor cards, customer cards, etc.) render quickly, other forms (sales orders, quotes, etc.) are painfully slow. Here is our environment:

Client Version: 4.06.25143
Client OS: Windows Vista
WAN: 2mb/s syncrenous link on Allstream's MPLS network
QOS: #1 VOIP, #2 SQL traffic on port 1433, #3 everything else but SMTP, #4 SMTP

I've all but ruled out this being a bandwidth issue, but I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Our two locations are in Toronto and Vancouver, but there is no firewall or VLAN swtiching in between, so I can't pinpoint what is causing the latency. My suspicion now is that some forms call codeunit 1 first, and there is some command that checks the user's Vista profile language setting, but I still don't know how to correct it. Suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

I think your useres will hate you if the have to open a NAV DB through a 2MBit line.
Why don't you use a terminal session instead? Of, if you want it more comfortable use citrix.
