Good morning,

We installed NAV 2009 SP1 (Classic Client and RTC) on a SQL 2008 Server. I was able to create a partner database login via SQL and 2 Windows Logins (1 Partner (Admin) and 1 User). Both Windows logins were able to access the NAV database via the Classic Client and RTC. The problem arose when we tried to create a 3rd Windows Login via SQL. We selected the User Windows Login ID from the Active Directory list and after selecting the same items as we selected for the 1st 2 logins, selected OK and received the error SQL Error 15401: User not found as referenced in this article [http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324321]. Makes no sense why we were able to create 2 logins and not another. We have googled the error and reviewed the before referenced support article but have had no luck in resolving this issue. Ideas? Thank you for your help!

Before creating user in SQL, please check the user have been created in AD. unless untill user have been created in AD, you will not able to add the user in SQL login with window ID.

    Thank!
