Run Time Set Up for Many Items

Hi All...

I have a question related to manufacturing time set up.

In a machine centre name "Heat Treatment" 9 Semi Finished items can be loaded one at a time. It takes 7 Days to acomplish the operation.

I have set 7days run time in routing line.

Now when I have a sales order of 1 item planning works perfectly. If order consists of 7 items then it takes 7X7=49 days. ](*,)

What I tried later set capacity and concurrent capacity both 7 for the machine centre.

What happens is for multi item(7) order it works fine i.e taking 7 days for the operation to complete 7 items...

Later when I planned for a single item sales order with [Cap. & Con. Cap. as 7] it takes 1 day to complete though actual time needed for 1 item or 7 item is 7 days

Please help me out!!!!!! How I have to set the routing.....

If you use wait time instead it doesn't matter how many you produce.

Or you could only use set up time if you want to have cost associated to the operation because wait time only makes the lead time longer.
