Sql server visible at login, then 'cannot be found error'

Hello,

We moved office to a new location yesterdag. In the old situation I was able to login to all our sql servers without any problem. But since this morning - at the new location - I'm experiencing problems

I'm trying to login to a SQL Server 2005 on our network with a Navision 4.0 SP3 client using Windows Authentication. The server appears in the 'Available Microsoft SQL Servers' list when I zoom in on 'Server Name' at the 'Open Database' screen. I can choose it from that list. But when I then try to pick a 'Database Name' from the drop down list it raises the error 'The NSQLSERV01 cannot be found'.

I've uninstalled the firewall and virus scanner. I can ping the server succesfully. So now I'm lost :-)

Does anyone have a clue? The technical guy who usually handles this kind of problems at our office called in sick today and I can't reach him...

Best regards

LD
