Production Journal Problem

Dear concern
I m using NAV 2009 Classic SQL DB in SQL Server 2008 on O.S Windows server 2008.I m having 100 to 120 lines in Production journal,when I posting this,some times it takes more than 30 minutes to post these lines and when I close DB and restart it again, it takes 4-5 seconds.What can be reason of slow posting production journal lines?

    All the conditions are same before and after restarting db? (Users logged on, open transactions etc.) If same I think it could be something related with the cache.

    Dear concern
    If this is something related to cache then problem with cache server or of any user machine because this problem comes on all users machine.

    Any modifications?

    Could be a roaming network/printer issue depending upon your setup.
