xpos/ypos, grid and pixels

The Xpos and Ypos are multipliers of 110.
2 Grid's = 220.

But is there any fixed relation between the Xpos/Ypos and the number of pixels on the screen?

As you can see in the online help XPos and YPos are 1/100 of a millimeter. But not all printers are able to work in this detail.

    Reports/paper is clear.

    But what about forms?

I think that it all depends on DPI... ;-)

The numbers used by windows are 39.370 inches per metre and 96 dots per inch.

The user can change the dots per inch but very few people know how and it's a reboot. (It's a bit easier in se7en so it may happen more often). I dunno how you're supposed to work out if the user has changed the DPI though.

    numbers...

Then how many dots is the 110 that's filled in the Width/Length property?
    Is there a fixed number?

    Depends on used DPI... ;-)

And the position on the form!

If I put a 11mm square control on the screen depending on where on the form it's put it's width might be one pixel different from it's height. It really is 4.7244 pixels per mm for my screen.
