Problem with no. series

Hi all,
I am facing a problem with no. series. Actuallly at the end the the financial year 2009-2010 all the no series should start with 1.
suppose i am using a no series A-0001 and the last no is have used is A-999, now
in the new year i want to start from A-0001 but its giving an error sating that the no allready exist, so what should i do to make this no. as unique.

    are you creating new line or modifying existing line.
    if you want to create new line then line no. must be different.

    hi there,

    In the No. Series Line enter the starting No as A/09-10/0001 & starting date as 01.04.09,in the next line enter for next year
    as A/10-11/0001 & starting date as 01.04.10, create at least 5 lines which should take care rest of your 5 years.
